| Course Description: | Introduces students to the major theories of development and their implications for intervention. Presents and discusses infant/toddlers’ development, risk, and disability in the areas of cognition, communication, motor skills, social/emotional development, and adaptive skills, and considers variation in development as a result of multiple factors. Is team-taught by professors drawn from school psychology, special education, speech-language pathology, counseling psychology, nursing, and physical therapy. |
