Emphasizes the medical management of the disease states most frequently encountered in practice; considerations and precautions that are required in the proper selection; and dosing of drugs most frequently used in these disease states; and the recognition of clinically significant, efficacious, and/or toxic drug effects. Topics include cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, and diseases of the critically ill. |
